Kim Oberdorf
President/Owner

Kim Oberdorf build the foundation for Oberdorf Floor Coverings Inc beginning in September, 1983. His experience at Oberdorf is based on knowledge, persistence, and excellence as he previously worked in the furniture industry and was introduced to floor covering very early on. Having worked in the flooring department of a furniture store, Kim received his basis for the industry and built up from there. In 1982, Kim began his own installation service using a 'shop at home' process for his first customers until officially opening a store front at Oberdorf. A couple of years later, Kim joined the national Carpet One Cooperative to ensure a wide variety of top, quality products available to customers at an exceptional value.

Kim's specialty consists of over 40 years of flooring installation across all floors in the industry and currently, primarily does all the in-home measures. He works with contractors on all types of commercial as well as residential jobs. Kim has received many notable certifications and achievements through extensive Carpet One training and of course, installation workshops he has done throughout his career.

Janeen Oberdorf
Office Manager

Jan is another committed staff member of Oberdorf. Although Jan has only been with the company since 2011, she has been involved for quite some time. She starting working in the family business to get more involved, learn all aspects of the business and and help out where she can! Her role consists of account payable and receivables as well as she is responsible for overall, general store management.

Jan heavily participates in local advertising in her community to ensure the message of their business being local and family operated for many years is evident. Even more recently, she has begun to explore and understand the social media aspect of advertising to help promote her local, family business. Previously, Jan spent roughly 37 years working for a state agency and monitored funding for state and government grants. 

Kim Campbell
Sales Consultant

Kim has spent the last thirteen years as a Sales Consultant, listening to customers and helping them find the right floor to fit their needs. Kim has specialty experience as she has been in the flooring industry since the age of 15, where her parents owned a retail flooring business. She caters to working with both residential and commercial clients.

Kim is certified with Mannington Mills, and through a Vo Tech program for blueprint designs. Additionally, she has completed all the Carpet One University classes on flooring plus had additional training prior to coming to Oberdorf. Kim's overall goal is to provide a friendly, one-on-one experience for any customer that comes to the store. Whether you're just browsing, looking for information and inspiration or already know what you want, Kim is ready to assist.
